Role Overview

The Facilities Technician will be responsible for general services for FCCI including but not limited to building care and maintenance, event set-up, and Campus Operations support. Additional responsibilities include conducting periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required, completing daily, weekly, monthly and annual Service Tickets, and maintaining all equipment necessary to perform work.

Specific Tasks

Specific tasks could include painting, pressure washing, cleaning, organizing, trouble shooting, repair, project management and furniture moving with hand equipment assistance.

Training

In-house and professional training provided in HVAC, Electrical, and Building Automation System software.

Location

This position will be in our corporate office in Sarasota, FL.

Work Hours & Schedule

Great work hours: 7:30 – 4:30 (Monday through Friday); on-call once a month, or approximately every five weeks. Uniform shirts provided. Travel to FCCI regional site locations for preventative maintenance may be required 1-2 times per year.

Salary

The salary range for this position is $18.58–$28.62 hourly. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
