Job description OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and replacing glass in various structures, including showers, windows, doors, mirrors, and shelving. This position requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to work with precision while ensuring safety standards are met. The Glazier will work closely with other tradespeople and must possess a strong understanding of construction practices.
This position requires a minimum of 5 years work experience in residential glazing.
- Install custom shower enclosures
- Install and repair glass in windows and doors
- Install custom mirrors
- Measure and cut glass to fit various openings accurately.
- Repair and replace broken glass in existing structures.
- Use hand tools and power tools to assemble frames and fixtures.
- Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople on construction projects.
- Ensure all installations meet safety standards and building codes.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when handling large glass panels or materials.
- Proficient in door hanging techniques and fixture installation.
- Experience with heavy lifting and handling of glass materials safely.
- Strong ability to use hand tools effectively for fabrication tasks.
- Capability to assemble various components as part of the installation process.
A drug screen and background check are required for this position. This is a client facing position that requires interactions with customers in their homes on a daily basis. Candidates should be highly motivated and professional at all times.
