A&P Mechanic
LAUNCH Technical Workforce Solutions is seeking an A&P Mechanic with general aviation experience for an opportunity in Sarasota, FL.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Completes aircraft and engine maintenance per the applicable aircraft manual.
- Follows established and normal aviation safety procedures and processes.
- Maintains complete and accurate maintenance records.
- Conducts scheduled inspections and completes follow-up as required.
- Inspects engines, landing gear, instruments, pressurized sections, brakes, valves, pumps, air-conditioning systems and other aircraft systems at the required inspection interval or as needed.
- Completes necessary maintenance and repairs (replacements) on the aircraft, its subsystems, and components.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Federal Aviation Administration Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) License.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as A&P Mechanic (Turbo Prop).
- Experience on Cessna, Diamond, Piper and/or Beechcraft aircraft preferred.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Advanced troubleshooting a plus
- Meet experience requirements on airframes or powerplants.
- Strong mechanical ability and skills.
