We are looking for an experienced Service Plumber and Water Filtration Specialist. This role is perfect for a skilled technician who enjoys the variety of service plumbing but has a particular passion for water quality. You will be the face of Sundream in the field, diagnosing complex plumbing issues and educating our clients on how to protect their homes with advanced filtration and softening systems.
Key Responsibilities- Expert Diagnosis & Repair:
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential plumbing systems (leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures, and piping). - Water Quality Consulting:
Perform on‑site water testing and provide expert recommendations for whole‑home filtration, reverse osmosis (RO) systems, and water softeners. - Precision Installations:
Install and calibrate high‑quality water treatment equipment and standard plumbing fixtures with a "measure twice, cut once" mindset. - Customer
Education:
Clearly explain technical issues to homeowners, providing options and transparent pricing to help them make the best choice for their home. - Professionalism:
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and ensure every job site is left cleaner than you found it.
- Experience:
3+ years of experience in residential service plumbing. Specific experience with water treatment systems (installation and service) is highly preferred. - Technical Knowledge:
Deep understanding of Florida’s specific water challenges (hard water, chlorine, etc.) and local plumbing codes. - Licensing: A valid driver’s license with a clean record is required. Plumbing certifications or a Journeyman license are a major plus.
- Soft Skills:
A positive attitude, strong communication skills, and the ability to build trust with customers. - Physical Ability:
Capability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in tight spaces (crawlspaces/attics), and handle the Florida heat.
