• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and building codes.
• Install new electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
• Regularly inspect, maintain, and repair existing electrical systems to ensure they function safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using testing devices and electrical theory knowledge.
• Interpret blueprints and technical diagrams to plan and execute electrical installations and repairs accurately.
• Follow state and local building regulations, including the National Electrical Code, to ensure safe installations.
• Use hand tools (pliers, wire strippers, screwdrivers) and power tools (drills, saws) to complete work.
• Test and inspect electrical work to ensure safe installation and compliance with regulatory codes.
• Other duties as assigned requiring exceptional communication and customer service skills.
