Directional Drill Operator/Foreman job at Charles Utilities Inc.. Plant City, FL.

We are looking for individuals that are interested in joining an underground utilities company based in Plant City. We specialize in the electrical, communication, and water/sewer sectors using both trenchless (Directional Drilling) and trench (Machine trenching).

• Job Type: Full-time.
• Pay: $22.00 - $27.00 per hour based on experience.

  Valid Drivers License

• Operate and maintain construction equipment and assigned vehicles.
• Locate and survey work areas prior to digging.
• Train others on proper operation of equipment.
• Assist crew in daily tasks associated with excavation, trenching and horizontal drilling efforts.
• Work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality service and timeliness in daily operations.

• Learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations.
• Uses logic to solve problems with effective solutions.
• Is committed to making improvements and open to suggestions.
• Listens and communicates effectively with crewmates both written and verbally.

• Work Location: Hillsborough County and adjacent counties.
• Pay Frequency: Weekly.
• Typical start and end time: 7AM - 5PM.

• 10-hour shift (Monday to Thursday).
• 8-hour overtime shift Fridays. (as needed)

• Waiting period may apply.
• Only full-time employees are eligible.

• Construction: 1 year (Required).
• Machine operator: 1 year (Required).
• Underground construction: 1 year (Required).
• Directional Drilling 1 year (Required)

• Valid Drivers License (Required)
• CDL Class A (preferred)
