Security Guard Floater

Security Officer (Floater) – Broward & West Palm Beach Area

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: Flexible (Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends as needed)

Location: Broward County & West Palm Beach, FL

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer (Floater) to support multiple client sites throughout the Broward and West Palm Beach areas. This role is ideal for a flexible officer who is dependable, adaptable, and comfortable working in various environments on short notice. The Floater will provide coverage for call-outs, vacations, new account startups, and high-need shifts.

• Provide security coverage at various client locations as assigned.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized activity.
• Conduct routine patrols (foot and/or vehicle).
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials.
• Complete detailed and accurate incident and daily activity reports.
• Respond promptly and professionally to incidents or emergencies.
• Enforce client policies and company procedures.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and team members.

• Active Florida Security D License (Required).
• TWIC Card (Preferred / Plus).
• Reliable personal transportation (Required – must be able to travel between Broward and West Palm Beach).
• Flexible availability (including weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts).
• Strong communication and report-writing skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to pass background screening and drug test.
