As a Security Officer - Armed Federal Patrol Driver in Bushnell, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in government and other industries. This Armed Patrol Officer role at a government location involves monitoring and patrolling assigned areas, conducting routine rounds, and maintaining high visibility to deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post and requires a valid driver’s license and an armed guard card or license. Bring agility, reliability, and integrity while delivering through teamwork and strong communication.

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at a government law enforcement location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, buildings, parking lots, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unsecured areas, and/or potential hazards.
• Respond to calls for service, alarms, and critical incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site staff and local responders as directed.
• Control access at designated points by verifying identification, monitoring authorized entry and exit, and/or directing visitors to appropriate check-in locations.
• Complete required reports and logs, including patrol activity, incident documentation, and/or shift pass-down information per site post orders and Allied Universal requirements.

• Have a minimum of 2+ years  law enforcement/military police/corrections experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card/License.
• Be at least 21+ years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
