Security Officer - Patrol Driver in Fort Meade, FL
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide clear, professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate concerns promptly, and support site teams with integrity and teamwork.

This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities while remaining agile, reliable, and innovative.

• Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter roads to help deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions, and report observations.
• Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation, and by maintaining accurate entry and exit logs as required by site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift turnover communications, and report maintenance issues such as lighting outages, damaged fencing, or malfunctioning gates to the appropriate contacts.

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security experience is required.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
