** Security Officer - Patrol Driver

** Fort Meade, FL** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and provide clear, professional customer service. You will document observations, communicate concerns promptly, and support site teams with integrity and teamwork.

This is a driving post, so you will use a company or site vehicle as part of your patrol responsibilities while remaining agile, reliable, and innovative.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to onsite personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a chemical and petrochemical location.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.

+ Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas, tank farms, warehouses, parking areas, and perimeter roads to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions, and report observations.

+ Control access to restricted areas by verifying identification, visitor authorization, and delivery documentation, and by maintaining accurate entry and exit logs as required by site procedures.

+ Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift turnover communications, and report maintenance issues such as lighting outages, damaged fencing, or malfunctioning gates to the appropriate contacts.

* + A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.

+ At least 1 year of security experience is required.

+ A guard card/license is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
