As a Security Officer - Armed Government Screener in Bushnell, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Screener in a government location, you will monitor entrances, check credentials, and help to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible and professional presence. This is an armed post. You will interact with visitors and staff, delivering outstanding customer service and communication.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations when appropriate.
• Monitor entry points and screen individuals entering the location to help maintain a secure environment.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of observations, incidents, and activities as required by site policies.
• Communicate professionally with visitors, staff, and law enforcement as needed.
• Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the location to support a secure environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
