Overview

Empire Today is looking for go-getters to meet face-to-face with customers in their homes and help find the best flooring products for their needs. Hot leads are generally within a 1-hour radius. Customers have called Empire and asked for an in-home flooring estimate. You can use the strength of the well-known brand to generate even more money through referrals and prospecting additional customers.

Responsibilities
  • Meet with customers in their homes to assess flooring needs and provide in-home estimates
  • Generate business through referrals and prospecting of additional customers
  • Represent a quality brand with pre-qualified leads and a strong reputation
  • Engage with customers to close sales while delivering excellent customer service
  • Utilize provided tools and brand resources to support sales activities
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions, in person or virtually

Requirements
  • Valid driver s license and a vehicle with room for flooring sample boards; ability to drive with sample boards
  • Valid auto insurance
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 25 lbs
  • Attend sales meetings and training sessions both in person and virtually
  • Business Development: achieve a monthly minimum of self-generated sales
  • Availability for evening and weekend appointments
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Ability to use a tablet device and laser measuring device for diagramming and contract preparation
  • Present professionally, including Empire branded apparel

Salary and earning ranges are based on average and top earners. Sales and installation are provided by independent contractors. Licenses/insurance details may apply per location.
