Card Sound Golf Club is now hiring enthusiastic individuals to join our team for the upcoming season from October 2025 through May 2026. We are seeking seasoned professionals who are passionate and dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences for our members and their guests.

Job Summary

Servers are responsible for taking orders and serving food and beverages to our members and their guests in a restaurant or other dining establishment. They ensure members have a satisfying dining experience by providing excellent customer service and attending to their needs throughout their meal.

Responsibilities
  • Greeting members by name as they arrive and seating them.
  • Presenting menus, going over daily specials and answering any questions about menu items.
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and entering them into the POS (Point of Sale) system.
  • Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely delivery of food to tables.
  • Check in with members to ensure satisfaction with their meals and address any concerns or issues.
  • Pre-bussing and clearing tables between courses and after members finish their meals.
  • Providing recommendations for food and wines/beverages based on members preferences.
  • Upselling additional menu items or specials to increase revenue.
  • Collaborating with kitchen staff and other servers to ensure smooth operation of the dining room.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including wiping down tables and chairs, and refilling condiments.
  • Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Assisting with opening and closing duties, such as setting up tables, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
    • Requirements
    • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
    • Must be at least 18 years old.
    • Previous restaurant experience required.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment.
    • Excellent communication skills.
