Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspector

We are looking to hire Mortgage Occupancy Field Inspectors to perform residential property inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders. We are looking for knowledgeable and experienced inspectors with:

• Aspen Grove ABC#
• Experience using industry-standard smartphone apps such as Inspector
  
  ADE (used by GIS), EZ Inspections, or Safe View Inspect
• Current or past experience conducting occupancy inspections

Mortgage lenders require periodic updates on properties they have financial interest in. The lender contracts GIS to perform inspections to verify property occupancy, report general conditions, deliver/post letters, conduct vacant interior walkthroughs, or insurance repair progress reports. Most inspections are basic exteriors, with some requiring contact via door knock or letter delivery. Certain inspections may require interior access to secured or vacant properties and appointment-based insurance loss assessments.

• Spend extended periods driving to inspection sites
• Manage time efficiently to complete inspections within a 3-5 day turnaround in your territory
• Determine occupancy status based on industry standards and report general property conditions
• Use a mobile app to capture photographs, comments, and complete documentation
• Maintain consistent communication with your inspection manager via text, email, and phone

• Pay rate per inspection estimated at $15-$20+ per hour, depending on volume and efficiency
• Payments are made weekly via direct deposit for work completed the previous week
• Expected work hours range from 5 to 15+ hours per week, depending on territory
• This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position
