As a Quality Systems Specialist
, you will help strengthen the foundation of our Quality Management System and ensure we meet the highest standards of excellence. Your work will help protect customers, enhance performance, and drive compliance across the site.

This is an on-site role based on our Turbocor global headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.
What You’ll Be Doing- Support, maintain, and improve the Quality Management System in alignment with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements.
- Assist with document development, revision, alignment, and control, ensuring accurate and accessible QMS documentation.
- Participate in internal audits, compliance assessments, and external audit preparation.
- Support risk assessment and risk management activities tied to QMS processes.
- Track and report on Process Performance Indicators (PPI) and follow up on Management Review actions.
- Deliver QMS-related training so employees understand procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to 5S initiatives and help maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Perform additional quality‑related tasks as needed to support the site and business goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-5 years of experience working with QMS or compliance systems.
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
- Experience with document control systems and audit coordination.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QMS or compliance software.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across departments.
- ISO 9001 Internal Auditor certification.
- Experience with risk management tools or frameworks.
- Familiarity with Management Review processes and KPI tracking.
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement training.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
