Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated Quality Improvement Engineer to maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) at our Brooksville, FL facility. The role involves ensuring compliance with current standards and driving continuous improvement strategies focused on process improvements and the QMS.
Responsibilities- Maintain and continuously improve the QMS to comply with newly released standards, including ISO 9001.
- Assist with internal audits at various facilities in compliance with ISO standards or NADCAP standards.
- Drive continuous improvement strategies with a focus on process improvements and QMS.
- Facilitate Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques to achieve organizational product quality levels using company metrics and visual aids.
- Collaborate with Program Managers, Engineering, and Operations to ensure new product transfers to Production align with approved data.
- Mentor and support First Article Inspectors and Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with QMS and customer product specifications.
- Interface with customers regarding all quality requirements, including PPAPs, Validations (IQ, OQ, PQ), complaints, SCARs, CARs, on-site audits, and product quality requirements.
- Manage product inspection activities, including FAI’s, PPAP’s, Validation’s, In‑Process, and final inspections.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a Technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in a Manufacturing Environment.
- American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) is recommended.
- Self‑starter with the ability to motivate others.
- Leadership skills with the ability to make decisions and delegate appropriately.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Experience in good manufacturing practices and quality initiatives.
- In-depth experience with QMS systems, including ISO standards.
- Ability to develop and maintain a team‑oriented work environment.
- Strong working knowledge of injection molding processes.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement, lean, or other process improvement techniques.
- Strategic thinker with experience in statistical analysis and trend identification.

Pay And BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80,000.00 – $/yr. medical dental vision 401k match
