About the Role
Receptionist – Wynn Haven Animal Hospital, Mary Esther, FL. Join a long‑standing, five‑doctor practice dedicated to small animal wellness, urgent care, and advanced diagnostics. Support veterinarians, staff, and clients by managing the front desk, phone system, appointments, and financial transactions while maintaining a warm, professional atmosphere.
Responsibilities- Act as the first point of contact: greet clients, manage a multi‑line phone system, and ensure every interaction reflects compassionate care.
- Coordinate seamless care: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
- Advocate for pet health: educate clients on preventative care and other hospital services to promote optimal veterinary outcomes.
- Exhibit compassion and empathy: provide a calming presence for anxious clients and treat each pet as if it were your own.
- Love for excellent customer service and genuine passion for animals.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations and maintain good judgment.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
- Collaborative, team‑first mindset with the ability to work independently and with direction.
- Prior experience with veterinary software preferred.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays.
