The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is Hiring a Pet Care Attendant!

• Role: Pet Care Attendant
• Status: Full-time
• Salary: Negotiable and based on experience

The Animal Hospital and Pet Resort is looking for a Pet Care Attendant to care for our animals and support our technician and doctor teams. Our Pet Care Attendants play an integral role in bringing comfort to our patients as well as ensuring proper organization and cleanliness of our hospital. Knowledge of routine animal care such as feeding, walking, and bathing as well as the readiness to care for scared or injured animals are some of the skills we are looking for with this opportunity.

Pet Care Attendants play an integral role in providing excellent care to our patients and outstanding customer service to our clients. • Patient and caring personality
• Ability to follow instructions properly
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (e.g. lift up to 40 lbs)

• Cleaning cages/runs and keeping the kennel area organized and free of safety hazards
• Administering oral medications prescribed by Veterinarians
• Observing animal behavior/health conditions and reporting changes to the technicians or doctors
• Keeping accurate records and logs
