A well-established AAHA-accredited hospital in Islamorada, FL
, is seeking a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join its experienced and collaborative team. Located between Key Largo and Marathon, this beautiful Florida Keys location offers a unique opportunity to work in a supportive clinic and live in a world-class coastal community.
The hospital is fully equipped with digital full-body and dental radiology, ultrasound, surgical laser, and cold/therapy laser
, allowing for advanced care and confident diagnostics.
- Conduct physical exams, diagnostics, and surgical procedures including anesthesia management
- Communicate clearly with clients about diagnoses, treatment options, and preventive care
- Collaborate with the veterinary team to deliver compassionate, comprehensive care
- Mentor and support staff through the Level Up clinical training program
- Manage a variety of cases, from routine wellness visits to complex surgeries
- DVM/VMD from an AVMA-accredited college (or completion of the ECFVG/PAVE program)
- Valid Florida veterinary license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Passion for continuous learning and high-quality patient care
