How You'll Make An Impact Your Role- Oversees clinical nursing education within the Clinical Division, including planning, development, organization, implementation, and direction of nursing practice (e.g., communications, program management, research, professional development, and team relations).
- Keeps current on nursing trends and best practices for clinical integration to improve patient outcomes.
- Establishes and initiates nursing practice improvement plans.
- Conducts educational needs assessments.
- Displays an understanding of diversity.
- Demonstrates integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).
- Enhances and contributes to a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.
- Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in nursing
- Six (6) years of relevant clinical educator experience.
- Note:
Human Resources (HR) may accept up to two (2) years relevant graduate‑level nursing education on a 1‑year:1‑year basis in lieu of required experience.
- Note:
- Experience developing, teaching, and coordinating educational programs for adult learners.
- Licensed as an RN in accordance with Florida Statutes (FS), Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations), Chapter 464 (Nursing), Part I (Nurse Practice Act) [includes multistate compact licensure].
