RN Freestanding Emergency PRN – South Shore Hospital – Apollo Beach, FL

South Shore Hospital, a HCA Healthcare facility, is seeking a dedicated RN PRN to support our dynamic Emergency Department. This role provides flexible coverage in a fast‑paced, high‑acuity environment with opportunities for professional growth and a comprehensive benefits package.

• Manage patient flow including triage, screening, and exam preparation.
• Deliver general nursing care and coordinate testing and admissions.
• Educate patients and families on medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and document test results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.

• Florida Registered Nurse license or active compact RN license (FL license within 60 days).
• BSN preferred; nursing diploma or ASN required.
• Acute care RN experience strongly preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS/ACLS/ENPC certification required (within 6 months).
• Current NIHSS certification required (within 6 months).
• Strong critical thinking, service excellence, interpersonal communication, and PC skills.
