Verovian Nursing Agency is seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Telemetry Neuro unit in Tallahassee, Florida. As an RN you will oversee assessment, planning, and implementation of care for patients with neurological disorders, strokes, and other conditions requiring continuous cardiac and neurological monitoring.

Job specification

• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and medical history.
• Provide resources and support for managing neurological conditions, including stroke prevention and rehabilitation.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in documentation practices.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care for patients with neurological and cardiac monitoring needs.
• Serve as a resource and mentor to other staff members, particularly in the areas of neurological and telemetry care.

Candidate requirements

• BSN is preferred, and an associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or Diploma in Nursing from an accredited program is required.
• BLS and ACLS Certifications are required.
• Certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing (CMSRN) or Progressive Care Nursing (PCCN) is preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a telemetry or neurological care setting preferred.
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and managing patients with neurological conditions is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
