ResponsibilitiesThis is a highly responsible clinical nursing position providing primary care services, diagnostic evaluations, and physical examinations for adults and children in the rural, medically underserved counties of Bradford and Union. The position is based in Union County but may occasionally require travel to Bradford County. The nurse performs physical examinations and assessments with concurrent treatment of common and acute illnesses, reviews lab studies, evaluates patients through conferences and consultations, and assesses family planning patients' health needs.
The nurse treats patients according to established protocols, advises patients on acute and chronic problems, consults with physicians on unusual illnesses, counsels on sexually transmitted diseases, and directs staff and related activities. The nurse also provides wound management and simple procedures within scope, refers patients to specialists when needed, participates in quality improvement and assurance activities, attends meetings, classes, conferences, and in‑service programs to update knowledge, and follows the DOH and local information security policies.

- Ability to follow directions.
- Minimum:
Licensure as an APRN in the State of Florida - Valid Driver’s License
