Sarasota Memorial First Physicians Group is seeking to employ an AGACNP/PA-C with specialization in Gastroenterology to join their growing employed physician group on the West Coast of Florida.

Sarasota is located approximately 60 minutes south of Tampa. The area is known for the arts, great restaurants, world‑class beaches, excellent schools, and a wide variety of activities for all ages.

Our Gastroenterology practice was developed in 2020 and has quickly expanded to eight (8) Board‑Certified Gastroenterologists, four (4) Advanced Gastroenterologists, and 13 Advanced
Practice Providers caring for the communities of SMH‑Sarasota and SMH‑Venice hospital .

• Full time employed opportunities in Sarasota and Venice, Florida.
• Perform physical examinations of patients; evaluation and treatment of patients with GI related conditions in the hospital and out‑patient setting.
• Four (4) 10‑hour shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM and will include one weekend a month.
• No call requirements
• Open to new graduates, will train an enthusiastic team player with a passion for GI.

• Current NCCPA or ANCC certification required and must also have an active license by the State of Florida by the time of hire.
• Board Certified Physician Assistant, Board Certified Adult‑Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner who has active, relevant and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years (defined as at least 500 acute care inpatient encounters over two years).
• Board Certified Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner
  , who has active, relevant, and routine experience in 2 of the last 4 years (defined as at least 1,000 acute care inpatient encounters over two years).
• BLS required.

• Require advanced degree from an accredited school or college of nursing.
  * Must have had a Medicare number in the State of Florida prior to 1/1/03; if not, must have a Master's Degree in nursing in addition to being a Registered Professional Nurse who is authorized by Florida to practice in accordance with state law.
• Require approved APRN board certification.
