Children's, Youth and College Pastor

Restoration Place seeks a dynamic, Christ-centered Pastor to join our ministry team. This role focuses on nurturing the spiritual growth of families in our congregation and community, creating an environment where faith flourishes across generations. The Pastor will provide strategic leadership and pastoral care to families, overseeing ministries from birth through college while equipping parents as the primary spiritual influencers in their children’s lives.

This role involves providing spiritual guidance and support to the church, its members, staff, and the community. We have a Youth Pastor, Elementary and Nursery Director who will report directly to the Pastor. This position will report to the Executive Pastor with a dotted line report to our Senior Pastor.

• Develop and implement a comprehensive family ministry strategy that aligns with our church’s vision.
• Provide a consistent pastoral presence for church families while developing ministry strategies that focus on the unique needs of parents and their children.
• Oversee and coordinate children’s and youth/college programs, including Sunday services, special events, and family-focused activities.
• Partner with the pastoral team to integrate family ministry strategies across all church programs.
• Recruit, train, and mentor volunteer teams.
• Provide pastoral counseling and support to assist in navigating various life stages.
• Coordinate with adult discipleship leaders to ensure parents are equipped to lead their children spiritually.
• Plan and execute events, retreats, and community outreach initiatives.

• Strong personal faith and commitment to Jesus Christ.
• Bachelor’s degree in Ministry, Theology, or related field; seminary degree preferred.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in ministry or a related position.
• Demonstrated leadership ability in family ministry contexts.
• Deep understanding of children’s spiritual, emotional, and social development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
• Heart for discipleship and family-centered ministry.
