Adena is seeking a Saw Operator to support structural steel fabrication operations. This role is responsible for accurately cutting steel materials according to shop drawings and specifications while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This position plays an important role in preparing structural steel components used in large-scale projects across the country.

Position Description
Operate band saws and other cutting equipment to cut structural steel materials to required dimensionsRead and interpret shop drawings, work orders, and material specificationsMeasure and mark materials accurately prior to cuttingEnsure all cuts meet quality standards and project specificationsMaintain a safe and organized work area in accordance with company safety policiesPerform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenanceCoordinate with shop supervisors, welders, and fitters to ensure efficient workflowPrevious experience operating industrial saws or similar fabrication equipment preferredExperience working with structural steel or metal fabrication environments preferredAbility to read measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers accuratelyBasic understanding of shop drawings and fabrication processesStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a shop environmentPosition Requirements
