Pay: $17-$20 per hour
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 1st Shift
Job Description:We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator for a lumber yard in Gibsonton. The ideal candidate must be forklift certified and have experience handling lumber and building materials, not just palletized products. This position requires safe and efficient movement of long and heavy materials in a yard or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities:
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move lumber and building materials
Safely handle long and oversized materials
Organize and stage materials for deliveries and orders
Assist with loading customer and delivery trucks
Perform daily equipment checks and follow all safety procedures
Requirements:
Valid forklift certification
Experience handling lumber or building materials (not just pallets)
Ability to work in a fast-paced yard environment
Reliable transportation and strong work ethic
Competitive hourly pay based on experience with a consistent Monday-Friday 1st shift schedule.
