Sewing Machine Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the textile and apparel industry, is seeking a dedicated Sewing Machine Operator to join their team. As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the creation of high-quality products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

** Shift:
** 6a - 4p, Monday through Thursday

** What's the Job?*
* + Secure duvet panels by reaching approximately 30 inches to attach front and back, repeating this process around 423 times per 8-hour shift.

+ Perform disposal reach of 30 inches to dispose of completed units, approximately 423 times per shift.

+ Push buggies and gurneys to and from the workstation, applying approximately 10 lbs of force, about 9 times per shift.

+ Slide work from buggy to worktable with assistance from Utility Service personnel, around 9-10 times per shift.

+ Position duvet panels under the presser foot and join three sides using a serger machine.

** What's Needed?*
* + No prior experience required; training will be provided.

+ Ability to perform repetitive motions and physical tasks such as pushing, pulling, and reaching.

+ Comfortable sitting for extended periods during the 8-hour shift.

+ Basic understanding of safety procedures and the use of safety equipment such as goggles and ear protection.

+ Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
