Description:

This role exists to lead and support a skilled team in repairing and maintaining products within our Service Centre and customer operations, ensuring quality and reliability at every stage. Working in a state-of-the-art facility, you will oversee the rebuild process for Weir products, driving efficiency, safety, and excellence.

• Maintain and repair products in line with site procedures, ensuring quality and reliability.
• Prepare accurate quotations for both site and workshop activities.
• Respond to urgent customer requirements promptly and professionally.
• Recommend improvements to products, services, and internal processes for continuous enhancement.
• Provide technical and operational support to area managers and key stakeholders to drive business growth.
• Ensure compliance with customer regulations and company standards at all times.

• Trade-qualified Mechanical Tradesperson with a recognised certificate or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role, providing guidance, support, and coaching to team members.
• Strong communication skills, able to read, write, and present information clearly in team and customer settings.
• Numerical and problem‑solving ability, including basic maths and interpreting technical instructions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Valid licences and certifications, including driver’s licence; forklift, crane, and dogging tickets; and relevant site inductions.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork, with the physical capability to handle workshop tasks and contribute to a positive, organised work environment.
