Overview
Alphanumeric is hiring a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN to work in Orlando, FL with an environmental-friendly energy innovator focused on sustainability.
Pay Range
: $22 - $24/hour
- Performs expert level preventative maintenance. This includes but is not limited to; observing devices in operation to locate root cause of problem; dismantling devices to gain access to and remove defective parts; examining parts to detect imperfections; adjustment of functional parts of devices and control instruments; and performing tests for electrical circuitry and mechanical systems.
- Identifies and sources parts, supplies and repair items as necessary.
- Performs evaluations of alternatives to improve cost and / or reliability of equipment.
- Independently performs maintenance as per industry standards.
- Work with production to optimize preventative maintenance daily schedule.
- May be required to setup and operate multiple machining operations including but not limited to lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to make and repair parts.
- Complies with 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Leads, drives, and participates in CI (Continuous Improvement) activities--processes, results, and cost savings using CI tools and methodology.
- Utilizes predictive maintenance technologies to collect equipment performance data. Observes trends and makes recommendations on possible preventative maintenance changes.
- Completes and conducts on-the-job training and technical self-study programs for career development.
- Follows all safety related policies, rules, regulations, technical instructions, and guidelines. Demonstrates situational awareness and identifies unsafe behaviors and conditions.
- Install and maintain electrical and mechanical components of machinery such as engines, motors, pumps, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, machine controls, and other aspects of production machines and equipment.
- Must have a “Safety First” mentality.
- The Maintenance Mechanic must be available and on site for any emergencies that may arise 24-7-365 such as machine breakdowns, power outages, weather, etc.
- Must be able to communicate professionally with all team members.
- Exhibit the ability to utilize computer software such as but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Excel, and SAP.
