The Maintenance Worker I position performs preventive and corrective maintenance in the plant under management supervision.

• Complete preventive maintenance program independently as assigned.
• Assist other maintenance personnel on special fabrication or construction projects; perform corrective maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Conduct daily greasing, oiling, and painting of plant equipment farklı.
• Replace equipment parts with minimal direction: gearbox rebuild, piping, packing, pump rebuild.
• Use cutting torch, welding mild steel with stick welder, fabrication, and hydraulic repairs.
• Rewire motors and perform basic electrical work.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area at all times.
• Use assigned personal protective equipment and observe all company safety rules and regulations.
• Attend regularly scheduled safety meetings; may serve on safety committee.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience operating a forklift.

Male Offensive
• Vocational school training preferred.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance and equipment operations.
• General mechanical aptitude; possess basic 480 electric skills.
• Good math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide whole numbers, fractions, and decimals).

Must be able to remain stationary, walk, use hands, stoop, kneel, crouch, curl, climb laddપ, use senses for communication and hazard detection. Must lift up to 50 pounds and occasionally up to 100 pounds. No special vision requirements but ability for close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
