The Impact You'll Make

As our Manufacturing Lean Manager
, you’ll play a key role in strengthening operational excellence by embedding Lean principles into how work is done every day across our manufacturing plant.

Your impact? You’ll help make our operations safer, more efficient, more predictable, and more engaging—by enabling leaders and teams to solve problems at the root, improve flow, and sustain improvements over time. Operators, supervisors, and cross‑functional partners will all benefit from clearer standards, stronger problem‑solving capability, and a more resilient Lean culture.

You’ll collaborate closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, HR, and other support functions, taking ownership of the plant’s Lean Manufacturing system and digitalization efforts—helping us move toward a more efficient, disciplined, and continuously improving future.

This is an onsite role, based on our Turbocorglobal headquarters in Tallahassee, FL.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Lead the deployment, governance, and continuous improvement of the plant’s Lean Manufacturing framework (Danfoss Business System), ensuring alignment with site KPIs and business priorities
  • Drive continuous improvement through kaizen events, workshops, and cross‑functional problem‑solving using structured methodologies (e.g., 4S, 8D), without direct authority
  • Coach managers and supervisors through gemba walks, Lean leadership behaviors, and root cause problem‑solving to build ownership and accountability at all levels
  • Improve operational flow by identifying and eliminating waste across production, logistics, and support processes, including takt adherence, line balance, layouts, and visual management
  • Build long‑term capability by developing and delivering Lean training, mentoring Lean champions, tracking CI performance, and ensuring improvements are standardized and sustained
What We're Looking For
  • A Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field, with 5+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations within a Lean or high‑precision environment
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change and influence cross‑functional teams across production, engineering, and quality without formal authority
  • Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing systems and continuous improvement principles, with experience applying them in real‑world manufacturing settings
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, analytical, and problem‑solving skills, with high credibility on the shop floor and a hands‑on, gemba‑oriented approach
  • Proficiency with MS Office, ERP/MES systems, and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred), along with a continuous improvement mindset focused on learning, coaching, and sustainability
What You'll Get from Us
  • We promote from within and support your learning with mentoring, training, and access to global opportunities.
  • You’ll have flexibility, autonomy, and support to do your best work while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance. Your well‑being matters to us.
  • We strive to create an inclusive work environment where people of all backgrounds are respected, and valued for who they are.
  • You’ll receive benefits like 13th salary, annual bonus, paid vacation, pension plans, personal insurance, and more. These vary by country and contract, but they’re worth asking about—we think they’re pretty great.
