National Pump Company, a designer and manufacturer of high-quality pumping solutions used worldwide for municipal, industrial, and agricultural markets, is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist for our Zolfo Springs, FL manufacturing operation.

The CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating manual machining equipment to manufacture, repair, and modify pump components to precise specifications.

Key responsibilities include:

• Interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
• Setting up CNC machines (loading programs, tooling, fixtures, and materials)
• Operating machines to cut, shape, and finish metal or other materials
• Monitoring machine performance and making adjustments as needed
• Inspecting finished parts using measuring tools to ensure quality and accuracy
• Performing routine maintenance and troubleshooting basic machine issues

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNC machinist (pump or heavy industrial manufacturing preferred); programming beneficial
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools

This role is performed in a manufacturing shop environment and requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift. The position involves lifting and moving materials up to 70–100 pounds, with or without assistance, and requires good manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work. Employees work around industrial machinery and tools and may be exposed to noise, metal chips, cutting fluids, and other typical manufacturing conditions.

The use of required personal protective equipment is mandatory.
