Gejits Infotech Inc seeking a Senior Program Manager with 10+ years of extensive experience leading and overseeing complex, multi-project IT initiatives to join our direct state client at Tallahassee, Florida.
This role requires strong leadership, executive-level communication skills, financial oversight expertise, and proven success delivering enterprise technology solutions within government settings.
The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in project governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and legislative reporting.
MinimumRequired Qualifications
- Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Minimum 8+ years of experience leading and managing large-scale IT projects/programs
- Minimum 8+ years developing and maintaining detailed project plans (including Work Breakdown Structures)
- Minimum 8+ years of meeting facilitation and documentation
- Minimum 8+ years preparing executive-level and legislative status reports
- Minimum 8+ years of budget and financial management (cost analysis / cost-benefit analysis)
- Minimum 8+ years of risk tracking, mitigation, and issue management
- Minimum 8+ years of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) methodology and documentation
- Minimum 8+ years using Microsoft Project or comparable project management tools
- Experience managing Independent Verification & Validation (IV&V) oversight activities
- Provide program and project management for enterprise technical initiatives
- Develop, maintain, and refine detailed project plans
- Track schedules, budgets, risks, and technical performance
- Lead cross-functional business and technical teams
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings and document outcomes
- Gather and document business requirements
- Develop work estimates and implementation plans
- Coordinate system testing and lead UAT activities
- Produce executive and legislative-level status reports
- Ensure adherence to PMI project management standards
- Provide analytical research and operational improvement recommendations
- Experience working in state or public sector environments
- Experience supporting regulatory or healthcare systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interface with executive leadership and legislative stakeholders
