** What You’ll Do

* *** Program Manager
** you’ll play a key role in creating access and opportunities for all students to have the best civics education including curriculum, speech and debate programs. You’ll have the chance to:

Day-to-day, you’ll be responsible for:
* Assists with local, regional and annual state and national debate competition planning, and post tournament activities
* Maintains accurate lists of participating programs, district and school contacts
* Creates and maintains FCDI calendar of events and shares calendar with FEF staff and participating programs
* Presents the Florida Civics & Debate Initiative mission and programs in a strong, positive image to relevant stakeholders
** Who We’re Looking For
** We’re seeking a candidate who brings not only technical expertise but also a passion for education and student success. Our ideal candidate will have:
* Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. A combination of education and experience may substitute for the required degree
* Leadership and coaching experience in speech and debate (preferred)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Positive and professional attitude
* Willingness to take on any project and learn new things
* Time management
* Organizational skills
* Self-motivation
