Schedule:
Monday–Friday 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (some weekends)
Base pay: $80,000 – $90,000 per year.
Job Overview:As an Assistant Community Association Manager, you will assist in the management of properties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Your role involves lease administration, income/expense management, physical facilities management, and tenant relations.
Your Responsibilities:- Acquire and maintain current knowledge of state regulatory agency statutes and each client’s community documents, policies, and procedures.
- Assist with field activities associated with a property or group of properties.
- Oversee the tracking and response to tenant service requests.
- Maintain tenant relation programs and communicate positively with each tenant.
- Perform quarterly property inspections.
- Coordinate insurance requirements for properties and associated vendors.
- Develop, prepare, and distribute tenant manuals, emergency procedures, and other formalized tenant communications.
- Prepare check runs, capital trackers, and funds, and submit all other forms for approval by the Community Association Manager.
- Assist in preparing monthly reports.
- Assist in developing operating and capital budgets.
- Assume any other duties directed by the Community Association Manager.
- Establish and maintain industry contacts through trade organizations, property management and real‑estate associations, and networking opportunities.
- Create a culture that promotes daily positive interaction among building management team members.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
- Two or more years of on‑site management experience overseeing property or building operations, including staff and service contracts.
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- Certification and licensing in Community Association Management (CAM) in Florida preferred.
- Strong customer‑service knowledge and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, leases, regulations, or documents of comparable complexity.
- Computer literacy: proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Lifting up to 50 lb.
- Standing, sitting, walking, and occasional climbing.
- Work on a personal computer for extended periods.
- Talk on the phone for extended periods.
- Detect auditory and/or visual emergency alarms.
- On‑call 24/7.
- Work extended/flexible hours and weekends as required.
- Drive when necessary.
- Respond to emergencies promptly.
