Plant Maintenance Lead - Nights - Lamont, FL

Conrad Yelvington Distributors, a CRH company, supplies and distributes aggregate materials such as granite, river gravel, limestone, natural sand, and more. This rail served aggregate distribution network covers Florida, Southern Mississippi, South Carolina, and Alabama.

• Daily maintenance and repair of the plant and other miscellaneous work that needs to be performed.
• Maintenance, repair, and installation operations as assigned.
• Special maintenance projects and maintenance and repair on all facility equipment.
• Troubleshoot and determine appropriate maintenance, replacing defective parts as needed.
• Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment in use at the plant.
• Complete required paperwork for maintenance needs, parts and service work orders, invoices, and safety documentation.
• Communicate any maintenance that needs to be completed to management.
• Follow all safety regulations set forth by the company.
• Maintain a clean work environment, including all equipment and the facility.
• Operate heavy equipment and be willing to help wherever needed.
• Lift up to 50 pounds alone and stand for a good part of the day.
• Work in varying weather conditions, dust, and noisy areas.
• Engage in substantial walking, bending, stooping, lifting or working in awkward or strained positions.
• Face hazards due to working in and around trucks and machinery.
• Possibly work overtime and some weekends as business needs require.

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
• Front‑end loader, forklift, and high‑lift experience preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years in the maintenance field.
• General experience with mining equipment and ability to perform preventative maintenance and repairs on mining operations.
• Ability to make simple electrical diagnosis and repairs.
• Familiarity with MSHA regulations.
• Conveyor system repair experience.
• Experience in welding, acrylic cutting, fabrication, and plumbing.
• Experience in excavator operation and dredging preferred.
