Custodian Key Qualifications

• Essential commercial cleaning experience is required
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required
• Must be able to speak and understand English and communicate clearly
• Must have initiative and organization skills
• Be punctual, reliable, and trustworthy
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license and be able to pass a background and drug screen (including marijuana)
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds independently and work outdoors year-round
• Working weekends and holidays required

Summary of duties:
Responsible for the tasks given in the areas of the property. Under basic supervision performs a variety of tasks on keeping the cleanliness of the park and facilities and performs related work as required.

• Clean, sweep, wash, disinfect, empty trash cans, wipe glass doors and windows, light switches, vacuum floor mats.
• Clean bathrooms, empty trash cans, stock bathrooms with paper towels, toilet paper, soap and other essential items.
• Prepare areas for events, arrange and clean tables and chairs, maintain cleanliness of the areas prior and after the event.
• Check the power levels of the materials and supplies to submit weekly acquisitions.
• Work is performed in a variety of environmental conditions both indoors and outdoors with exposure to high temperature. Physical demands require bending, lifting, climbing. Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds.
