** We have an exciting opportunity for an
** Improver
* * to join our Heathrow team. This role is ideal for someone looking to
** kick-start their career in the lifts and escalators industry
** with a global leader. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, gaining hands-on experience, technical knowledge, and industry qualifications while supporting the maintenance and repair of equipment at one of the UK’s busiest and most dynamic locations.

** What You’ll Be Doing
*** Supporting qualified engineers with the
** maintenance, servicing, and repair
** of lifts and escalators across Heathrow
* Assisting with
** fault finding and troubleshooting
** to ensure equipment remains safe and reliable
* Carrying out routine inspections and preventative maintenance under supervision
* Working in line with
** KONE safety standards
** and Heathrow airport procedures
* Building strong relationships with customers and on-site stakeholders
* Developing your skills through structured training and on-the-job coaching
* Accurately recording work using KONE digital tools and systems##
** What We’re Looking For
*** A strong interest in engineering and a desire to build a career in the lift & escalator industry
* ** Part-qualified (e.g., working towards NVQ Level 3 or equivalent) – preferred
*** Some mechanical/electrical experience or relevant qualification – advantageous
* A proactive, hands-on approach with willingness to learn
* Good communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
* Ability to work effectively in a team within a fast-paced airport environment
* Full UK driving licence – preferred
* Flexibility to work the
** 4 on 4 off, 6am–6pm shift pattern
** and meet airport security requirements##
