Environmental Services Technician II

• Dismantles, cleans, sanitizes, and reassembles production machinery or production areas.
• Inspects work area for cleanliness; completes required paperwork documenting activities.
• Safely uses and stores cleaning materials, ensuring they are labeled correctly.
• Performs heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, vacuuming rugs, washing windows, emptying trash, and recycling receptacles, replacing liners in trash cans, etc.
• Cleans and services restrooms with disinfectants and other cleaning agents.
• Reports maintenance concerns or repair requests to Facilities Management.
• Updates safety data sheets as new chemicals are implemented.
• May operate machinery necessary for marijuana waste disposal.

Required

• Age 21 or over
• Valid Government-Issued Photo
• Ability to comprehend written and oral instructions in English.

Preferred

• 1+ years custodial experience with knowledge of proper and safe use of custodial equipment.
• Knowledge of chemical use and purpose.
• Good organization and time management skills.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces.
• Ability to be in constant standing/moving position.
• Ability to perform various physical activities, including lifting, standing, and squatting.
• Ability to work in extreme weather.
• Ability to ascend/descend a ladder.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work without excessive supervision.
• Ability to work quickly and be flexible in a changing environment.
• Collaborative and team-oriented; able to work with others.
• Think creatively; the best solution may not be traditional.
