Maintenance Technician

Chesapeake Beach Resort, a beautiful oceanfront property in the Florida Keys, is seeking a reliable and hands‑on Maintenance / Houseperson to help manage the day‑to‑day maintenance and upkeep of our resort — including working PM and overnight shifts when needed.

• Oversee and perform daily maintenance tasks to keep our resort running smoothly and safely
• Manage and supervise all related systems and the building envelope to ensure the safety of guests, associates, and vendors
• Maintain compliance with preventative maintenance programs and procedures, standard operating procedures, and all Building/Fire/Health Department codes
• Prioritize service requests; schedule and monitor work to ensure guest satisfaction, safety, and convenience
• Perform general repairs and support housekeeping by maintaining cleanliness of public and recreational areas
• Respond promptly to maintenance calls during PM and overnight shifts as required

• Strong management and problem‑solving skills
• Some knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing techniques
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Commitment to safety, attention to detail, and excellent guest service
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull moderate to heavy items
