Position Specific DescriptionSeeking an experienced commercial transactions attorney to support complex commercial transactions for Next Era’s utility scale solar generation and energy storage development and business management teams. The attorney would be responsible for drafting and negotiating renewable energy power purchase agreements, energy storage agreements, build-transfer agreements, joint development agreements, purchase and sale agreements, and other commercial agreements related to solar generation and energy storage projects.
Applicant must be a team player with a demonstrated commercial acumen who relates well with clients, management and counter parties and who can thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment.

Juno Beach, FL, Houston, TX, San Francisco, CA, Washington, DC, Austin, TX, St. Paul, MN or New York, NY
Employees in this job participate in complex legal matters and projects and deliver timely and quality legal services to clients with minimal supervision.
Job Duties & Responsibilities- Provides written and oral legal advice to clients
- Anticipates and guards against legal risks involving the organization
- Works to ensure budget compliance and avoids the need for outside counsel
- Ensures disclosure of potentially material legal issues to senior leadership
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned
