We are seeking an Associate Attorney to join our Tallahassee team. This attorney will handle a diverse caseload, including premises liability, construction litigation, general liability matters such as HOA claims, and employment disputes. While prior insurance defense experience is not required, candidates must have 2–3 years of litigation experience and strong writing skills.
Responsibilities- Draft discovery, motions, and other legal documents; conduct document review and case triage.
- Participate in depositions and motion practice early in your tenure.
- Engage in trial preparation, with opportunities to attend trials.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys on select files across multiple practice areas.
- Manage deadlines and follow established processes and training protocols.
- 2–3 years of litigation experience (complex litigation preferred).
- Exceptional writing skills.
- Ability to learn niche areas of law and adapt to varied practice areas.
- Strong sense of personal accountability and confidence to handle depositions and hearings.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to a collaborative office culture.
