job summary:

this a distributed computer systems analyst position, located in the information systems program in tallahassee, fl. We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused desktop support technician to join our it team. This entry-level role supports end users with basic technical issues across hardware, software, and connectivity.

key responsibilities:

• respond to incoming support requests via ticketing system, phone, and email
• troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues
• install and configure software applications and updates
• provide excellent customer service and document resolutions

minimum requirements:

• three years of experience working with computer hardware, software and/or networking systems *
• experience using windows, o365 administration
• experience with remote support tools and basic networking concepts
• experience troubleshooting routine technical issues and following documented procedures

substitutions:

• * education in an it field of study can be substituted on a year for year basis

preferences:

• experience working with microsoft sccm
• experience working with active directory
• experience with the setup, deployment, and installation of desktops and laptops
• experience working remote desktop support
• experience working with multi-factor authentication tools
• experience working with cyber security protocols
