Systems Analyst

Job Description

• The Systems Analyst serves as a lead developer, facilitator, and subject matter expert for applications and services supporting complex financial business processes.
• This role ensures robust and scalable solutions are implemented across large, cross-functional projects and provides guidance to QA teams to maintain high-quality standards.
• The Systems Analyst collaborates with distributed teams, drives continuous improvement, and applies best practices and emerging technologies to deliver effective business solutions.

• Knowledge of relational database terminology and concepts, with SQL proficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio/.NET.
• Experience with ORMs such as Entity Framework and n-Hibernate.
• Experience developing and maintaining software systems for complex financial processes.
• Ability to create SQL, Power BI, and SSRS reports.
• Skilled in verbal and written communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, and customer service.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into business solutions.

• Extensive experience leading development teams on cross-functional application projects.
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues using analytical tools and teamwork.
• Experience implementing process improvements and integrating research and best practices.
• Experience guiding QA activities from code inception to production deployment.

• Act as lead developer and subject matter expert for applications supporting complex financial processes.
• Provide guidance and oversight to QA teams on new code from development through production.
• Identify, analyze, and resolve problems using troubleshooting tools and collaborative techniques.
• Drive continuous improvement in design, methodologies, and processes.
• Collaborate with distributed cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and project delivery.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of trends, relevant software development technologies, and methodologies.
• Conduct complex systems analysis and translate user requirements into effective business solutions.
• Lead development teams and promote best practices across projects.
• Communicate effectively with management, staff, clients, and stakeholders.
• Apply quality assurance ideologies, techniques, and tools in practice.
