Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
Position Description:
Seeking a Senior Business Systems Analyst to join a full lifecycle Agile development team supporting enterprise modernization initiatives. This role partners with subject matter experts, technical teams, and stakeholders to translate strategic and operational goals into actionable business and technical requirements.
The ideal candidate brings strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, data migration, Agile methodologies, and system implementation. This position plays a key role in guiding solution design, supporting funding decisions, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders and SMEs to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
- Conduct business process analysis, including as-is and to-be process modeling.
- Develop and maintain business cases, cost-benefit analyses, feasibility studies, and project documentation.
- Translate business needs into technical specifications, use cases, and test cases.
- Support Agile development teams by managing backlogs and requirements using Azure Dev Ops.
- Perform impact analysis, demand prioritization, and strategic alignment assessments.
- Plan and execute functional, regression, integration, and data validation testing.
- Assist in enterprise modernization, remediation, and migration initiatives.
- Facilitate stakeholder workshops and cross-functional meetings.
- Produce executive-level reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft tools.
Required Skills/Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 5+ years of business process and systems analysis experience.
- Strong experience with:
- Business process modeling (Visio or similar tools)
- Requirements gathering and documentation
- Data migration and system integration
- Testing and quality assurance methodologies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Experience working in Agile environments.
- Knowledge of how business requirements translate into technical solutions.
- Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops for backlog and requirement management.
- Certifications such as CSM, CBAP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, PMP, or ITIL.
- Experience with change and release management processes.
- Familiarity with state or government project environments.
