Technical Services Specialist II

A large energy organization is seeking a Technical Services Specialist with strong system administration experience to support physical access systems across multiple power generation facilities. This role focuses on driving efficiency, reliability, security, and overall system performance.

Technical Services Specialist

Location: Juno Beach, FL
Schedule: Standard Office Hours
Duration: 12-Month Contract
Pay Range: $26-31/hr

Responsible for configuring, maintaining, and supporting a physical access management application in support of power generation operations.

• Configure and manage physical access system settings, including programming access points at new facilities
• Administer user access, role changes, privileged user assignments, and ongoing permission management
• Conduct regular audits and validation checks to ensure credential integrity
• Perform routine system maintenance and monitor system performance
• Act as primary point of contact for troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Support project teams during initiation and planning phases for new implementations
• Develop user documentation, training materials, and procedural guides
• Coordinate system upgrades and implementation of new features
• Perform additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• 4+ years of relevant experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Analytical problem‑solving and root cause analysis skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Strong documentation and technical writing skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5-7+ years of experience as a Systems Administrator
• Experience with cloud‑based management services
