Responsibilities

Troubleshoots repairs and maintains audio visual systems and equipment. Installs, field tests and makes final adjustments and alignments to audio visual presentation systems and equipment. Fabricates cables and wiring harnesses used in audio visual presentation systems.

Coordinates inventory control including property transfers, swaps, recycling, and decommissioning of equipment. Coordinates and maintains in‑house AV inventory and database. Responsible for receiving newly purchased audio visual equipment. Performs inspection and quality assurance tests on newly purchased audio visual equipment. Maintains projector lamp inventory and orders replacement lamps and audio visual parts.

Coordinates AV Distribution. Maintains calendar, point of contact, maintenance, delivery and collection of loaned audio visual equipment.

Coordinates warranty and non‑warranty repairs for audio visual equipment with vendors including obtaining quotes, return shipping and receiving repaired items.

Fabricates custom cables for audio visual presentation systems.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalency and two years of experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to two years.

A valid Florida or Georgia driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
