OverviewThis role supports cloud‑based data integration initiatives, translating business needs into system and integration requirements for government clients. The analyst will design, develop, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud, ensuring accurate, reliable, and governed data across diverse platforms.
Responsibilities- Translate business needs into system and integration requirements.
- Design, develop, and manage scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to document reporting and analytics requirements and validate data quality.
- Support real‑time and batch data flows and conduct data modeling for cloud data warehousing.
- Optimize performance and data quality through modular pipeline design and orchestration.
- Convert legacy mainframe scripts (JCL, COOLGEN, COBOL, FOCUS, WebFOCUS) into modern IDMC workflows, ensuring functional equivalence.
- Document testing strategies and maintain clear documentation throughout the conversion process.
- Coach and mentor peers on data warehousing concepts and tool usage.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum 7 years of IT experience with data management, business intelligence, and data warehousing tools.
- Extensive knowledge of data warehouse and data mart concepts.
- Experience designing, developing, and supporting ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica IDMC and on‑prem solutions.
- Knowledge of Snowflake, Informatica Power Center Cloud, Data Quality, and Data Catalog.
- Proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, and other reporting tools.
- Experience with relational database platforms such as DB2, SQL Server, and Oracle.
- Ability to model transactional data for data warehousing usage.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and evolving cloud ecosystem.
