SimIS is currently recruiting for a Senior Operator to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Surface Combat Systems Training Command (SCSTC). The role involves providing expert operational support for Advanced Anti-Air Warfare Tactical Trainer (AATT) and Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense/Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer (CIAT) systems. The position requires extensive naval combat systems operations experience and the ability to execute complex, realistic training scenarios effectively.

• High school diploma or equivalent required;
  Associate's degree preferred
• 6-8 years of naval combat systems operations experience
• Experience with AEGIS combat systems and shipboard watch standing
• Knowledge of anti-air warfare (AAW) and integrated air and missile defense (IAMD) operations
• Willingness to travel approximately 25%

• Preferred:
  Former Navy personnel with FC, OS, or similar ratings
• Experience as Combat Systems Officer of the Watch (CSOOW) or similar supervisory role
• Knowledge of naval doctrines, tactics, and procedures
• Strong leadership, training, and communication skills
• Ability to role-play operational scenarios and provide guidance
• Proficiency in scenario coordination, debriefing, and documentation

• Conduct high-fidelity AATT and CIAT training scenarios
• Perform operational roles such as CSOOW and watch standers
• Coordinate multi-platform simulation exercises
• Adjust environmental and tactical parameters for realism
• Provide tactical guidance and conduct scenario validation
• Mentor junior operators and support debriefings
• Stay current with tactical doctrine and combat system capabilities
